(Qualified Intellectual Disability Prof/Case Manager)
The QIDP provides habilitation management services necessary to ensure a person’s progress towards goals set for them through the personal service planning process and that the outcomes specifically identified in the person's individual service plan are measured and considered in the development of the person’s subsequent plan.
The QIDP ensures the Department of Disability Services requirements legally mandated by the District of Columbia and DDS related to program participants served, and the delivery of programs and services to them. Consequently, the QIDP must be knowledgeable about and proficient in the application of all DDS requirements which they must comply with.
Duty and Responsibilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities, must satisfy all requirements to be recognized by DDS as a QIDP.
Must have at least three (4) years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities.
