Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Production Assistant to join our team. This is a part time, seasonal position with hours mostly Friday-Sunday but will fluctuate based off events and weddings booked. This position is the right hand to our Floral and Event Designers onsite during event set ups and strikes. Event Production Assistants help with everything from loading and unloading trucks to assisting with leading the crew during set up onsite to ensuring quality control once the event is set. If assisting with creation of a wedding day and seeing a design come to life sounds like your dream job then this is the position for you!

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead designer during event set up by coordinating team members, ensuring the team is meeting their timeline and being the right-hand for the designer on event days
• Leads event strike at the end of the event
• Loads and unloads the vans and trucks for the event
• Checks that all supplies and inventory are accounted during load in and load out
• Does quality control checks of designs and inventory onsite to ensure client's vision is met
• Provide luxury-level customer service to clients
• Make deliveries and lead set ups for Wild packages

Requirements:

• Positive attitude and team player
• Highly organized and efficient
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid Driver's license and able/willing to drive a cargo van around DC/MD/VA
• High School Diploma

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
