Front End Associate

Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers at the front end of the store
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized front end area, including checkout lanes and surrounding areas
- Assist customers with any questions or concerns regarding products, pricing, or store policies
- Upsell and promote additional products or services to enhance the customer's shopping experience
- Follow food safety guidelines when handling food items at the front end, such as checking expiration dates and maintaining proper storage conditions

Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar customer service role is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and calculating transactions
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices to ensure proper handling of food items
