Reports to: Lead Clinical Research Coordinator

Job Summary: The Clinic Assistant is responsible for assisting the CRCs in clinic and the Lab Supervisor in the lab. Clinic responsibilities include preparing lab draw kits, assisting in requesting medical records and clinic stocking. Must have the ability to communicate well across a wide variety of people and complete tasks within short deadlines.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

•Assist with studyvisits:

oVital signs

oECG

oBloodDraws

•Assist with lab

oBlood and urineprocessing

oShipment ofspecimens

•Stocking of clinicsupplies

•Perform FibroScans®

•Create Source Binders

•Create Screen Fail packets

•Create ET or EOT Binders

•Schedule off-site appointments

•Records Requests and Redaction

•Assist CRC to prep for Monitor visits

•Assist CRC to prep Source documents

•Assist with filing documents in Subject chart

•Travel to other sites to assist in Clinic and Lab

•Attend Clinic Assistant Meetings

•Additional duties/responsibilities may be assigned as needed

Education and Experience

·High School Diploma

·Some higher education preferred

·Medical experience desired

·Clinical research experience (1 year preferred)

·Bilingual Spanish highly preferred
