Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care to patients under the direction of registered nurses and physicians.

Duties:
Ensures client compliance with facility rules and guidelines

· Skilled in case management, time management and crisis intervention

· Follows HIPPA standards/laws in all aspects of their duties

· Provide nursing care and assist in the welcoming, admission and discharge process for client

· Ability to maintain the confidentiality of patients' medical and personal information

· Respond to emergencies and initiate action as required

· Accurately assess the degree of detoxification or over sedation client may be experiencing

· Be familiar with common detox assessments, CIWA and COWS

· Collects data relevant to person served care

· Develops and implements nursing care plans

· Adheres to medication management policies and procedures

· Notifies the prescriber and nursing Supervisor of any changes in behavior and/or condition

Requirements:
Current LVN License in the State of California

· Current CPR/First Aid

· Minimum 1 year of Clinical Nursing experience

· Proficient knowledge of chemical dependency and psychological disorders

· Knowledge of detoxification protocol and related care including symptoms and medications

· Ability to accurately record information and prepare reports

· Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the staff, patients, patient's families and authorized consents

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
