Job Title: EHS Associate Consultant - Environmental Location: Laguna Hills, CA About the role: BSI's EHS Consulting SoCal region is seeking a mid-level experienced Environmental Consultant. The Consultant will be involved in a variety of projects, with a primary focus on environmental compliance with local, state and Federal requirements, including those associated with hazardous materials management, chemical inventory, water, wastewater, solid waste, hazardous waste, chemical storage, and air emissions. Responsibilities: Support the of Southern California client base, including consulting and compliance services. Work collaboratively with peers, managers, and clients in a dynamic environment Conduct and manage various media sampling chemical inventories as needed in support of the on-going projects Willingness to learn new skills. Achieve client expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Support client relationships that generate repeat business. Required areas of consulting experience include: HMBP and CERS To be successful in the role, you will have: BS/MS in environmental/civil/chemical engineering, sustainability, environmental studies, or related science degree. 3-5 years of environmental consulting/compliance experience with knowledge of hazardous, biohazardous, and medical waste regulations, hazardous material inventory and reporting, stormwater permitting and compliance, spill planning, and comprehensive environmental compliance auditing. Proven track record in successful project execution and client satisfaction. Solid grasp of technical aspects and project management.
