Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks in clients' systems.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and solutions tailored to clients' specific needs.
- Monitor network traffic and systems logs for signs of suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Configure and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate incident response efforts to mitigate impact and prevent future occurrences.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to proactively address emerging risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity awareness and compliance.
- Oversee governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) activities, including developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and controls.
- Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to identify areas of non-compliance and develop remediation plans.
- Ensure clients' compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001).
- Facilitate audits and assessments by regulatory bodies and third-party auditors, ensuring all requirements are met and documentation is accurate.
- Provide guidance and support to clients on GRC-related matters, including training and awareness programs.
- Collaborate with clients' internal teams and external partners to address GRC challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience working in cybersecurity or information security roles, preferably in a managed service provider (MSP) environment.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
- Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and encryption.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) roles, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, gap analyses, and compliance audits.
- Familiarity with GRC frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, and COBIT.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with GRC tools and software solutions is a plus.
