The Enterprise Architect is a recognized master in their professional discipline that is responsible for the development of infrastructure of Purdue University’s platform. This position will conduct needs analyses, recommend solutions and proof of concept, and design, develop, and implement solutions to ensure the platforms meet University’s needs. You will designs processes, documents essential IT procedures, tracks project progress, and maintains a security focus, as well as collaborate with other internal and external teams, units, agencies, and vendors. You will be understanding, advocating, and supporting the enterprise’s business and IT strategies. Develop strategies required to migrate from existing technologies to target infrastructures.
You will need mastery level knowledge, lead the development of an implementation plan for the EA, based on business requirements and IT strategies; overseeing EA implementation, ongoing EA refinement activities, and the documentation of all EA design and analysis work. You will be consulting with program/project teams to fit solutions to architecture across all viewpoints. You will be defining organizational requirements for the resources, structures and cultural changes necessary to support the EA. This position will be promoting the EA process, outcomes and results to the organization, including the enterprise's IT and business leaders; this includes assessing (through appropriate metrics) and communicating the achievement and impact of the EA, as well as leading the development and execution of an EA communication and education plan.
This is a hybrid position where you will work mostly remote and periodically onsite at the Purdue University campus.
