SUMMARY To provide both technical and administrative support to ensure functionality and efficiency of computer and telecom systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following for associates. Other duties may be assigned.

• Sets up new user computer hardware, desk phones, and cell phones.
• Train users to operate hardware and other equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoots various system issues and escalates to higher-level support as needed
• Act as link between end users and higher-level support and vendors.
• Establishes and maintains an updated and accurate inventory listing of all company computers, software licenses, and other technical assets.
• Observes and reports equipment performance deficiencies, coordinates repairs, and suggests replacements as needed.
• Perform installation and service of low voltage cabling.
• Prepares and monitors hardware maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Prepares/performs various administrative reports/activities.
• Performs duties with little to no supervision.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Requires a minimum of 3 years of related IT experience.
• CompTIA A certification
• Additional certifications (Network , Security , etc.) are a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Must have accurate administrative skills and an eye for details.
• Must possess a positive attitude and personality.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. without assistance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3 years of related IT experience

TRAVEL

Ability to travel between multiple company locations in South Carolina (Goose Creek, Ladson, Hollywood) on a weekly basis. Some periodic out of state travel when necessary.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal customers, vendors, or external customers. Ability to speak and write in English. Ability to effectively present information to top management.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs. Ability to learn and apply Imperial and Metric system computations.

REASONING ABILITY

Requires analytical knowledge; ability to define and troubleshoot problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and apply corrective actions.
