JOIN OUR TEAM AS A MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN (MHT)!
Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?
The Mental Health Technician functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from adolescent through geriatrics depending on which unit worked. MHT's work under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:

• Education: High School Degree or equivalent preferred
• Experience: One year of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.
• Additional Skill Requirements: Agency Affiliated Counselor registration in the state of Washington is required within 50 days of employment. Certified Nursing or NAR preferred. Successful completion CPR/First Aid certification and crisis intervention(CPI) training within 10 days of employment before assisting with restraining procedures. May be required to work flexible hours.
