Hinton Lumber Products is Hiring a Manufacturing Operator Near La Porte, TX
Hinton Lumber is seeking a Manufacturing Operator. The selected candidate will be required to produce pallet products as specified during training. Experience in a production facility is highly desired but not required for this position. Hinton Lumber is part of an organization that produces various pallet products.
Pay Rate: $15-18/hr
Job Requirements:
Meeting shift output goals to ensure a consistent supply of products to the next step in the process.
Follow and lead protocols for a safe and healthy work environment.
Setting up and running products correctly based on training and information given.
If problems are detected, stop the process, and make minor repairs or refer major problems to maintenance.
Operating the machines safely and visually observing while in operation.
Using forklifts to move products safely.
Generating correct identification tags and attaching them to the finished product.
Monitor for quality control and make minor machine repairs when detecting a problem.
Ensuring the work area is maintained clean and safety standards are followed.
Accurately reporting production data as required.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience: Open to all entry-level and very experienced individuals
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal communication.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work - This is a full-time position. Evening and weekend work maybe required as job duties demand.
Physical Requirements -The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
