Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a strong set of nursing skills.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Perform physical examinations and health assessments
- Assist in medical procedures such as IV infusions, spinal taps, and catheterizations
- Monitor and record patient symptoms and vital signs
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education to patients and their families on disease prevention and management

Requirements:

- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice
- Proficiency in various nursing skills including IV infusion, catheterization, and physical examinations
- Experience in diverse healthcare settings such as nursing homes, ER, behavioral health, and dementia care
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding system for accurate documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Pay: $30.46 - $36.68 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
