About Us:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. Our company operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires a leader who can effectively manage financial operations while leading a team of six individuals. If you have a proven track record in manufacturing finance and excel in leadership, financial planning, and control, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Produce accurate and timely financial statements to guide decision-making processes.
Risk Management: Institute effective programs and controls to protect company assets, identify potential losses, and ensure accurate reporting of costs and margins.
Cost Control: Implement and maintain a standard cost system, analyze monthly variances, and ensure accurate inventory management.
Financial Planning: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for sales, costs, profits, balance sheets, and cash flows. Justify capital expenditures and control costs.
Team Leadership: Manage the selection, training, and development of staff to ensure a high-performing team.
External Relations: Oversee annual audits, regulatory reporting, and maintain relationships with financial institutions, tax authorities, and insurance providers.
Cash Management: Monitor accounts receivable, manage vendor payments, and optimize cash flow.
Cost Management: Oversee purchasing processes, ensure compliance with purchase order procedures, and monitor cost centers' budgets.
Vendor and Service Management: Ensure adherence to procedures for engaging external services such as legal and accounting.
Annual Compliance: Coordinate annual audit, tax return filing, bank line renewal, and insurance renewal processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CMA preferred.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Manufacturing Finance.Thorough knowledge and application of GAAP.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive results through others.
Strategic thinking and planning ability over a 1-2 year horizon.
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication and persuasion skills to convey the company's vision and drive change.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills at both strategic and operational levels.
Experience in employee training and development.
Ability to think creatively and strategically while also understanding and managing details.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
