Basic Functions, Duties, And Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training content to employee and customer groups from 6 to 30 attendees.
- Work with others in the training group and all levels of management to identify training needs and develop training solutions.
- Manage scheduling, class rosters, and communication with supervisors and employees to ensure their attendance.
- Manage internal and external training registrations and employee training records.
- Must be able to provide technical assistance to employees for multiple web-portals and diagnostic software including installation, troubleshooting, and licensing of multiple applications.
- Provide technical assistance for service staff and technicians pertaining to equipment diagnostics and researching technical documentation.
- Attend relevant “train-the-trainer” training sessions to develop product and technical knowledge from other instructors in the training group or manufacturer instructors.
- Always observe and exhibit proper adherence to company safety policy including proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
- Must be able to climb on, operate and work on machinery for training purposes and may be required to work outdoors in extreme temperatures including company or customer sites.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must have 5 or more years of machinery service-related experience.
- Technical training experience preferred.
- College degree preferred.
- Capable of producing with limited supervision
- Must be able to manage different learning styles and personalities in a classroom or group setting.
- Position requires approximately 25% travel annually, however more travel will be required during the first year of employment to attain trainer certification.
- The position is salaried and will be paid every 2 weeks.
- Salary is negotiable based on level of experience.
- Successful candidate must pass an employment physical and drug test.
