Protect the assets of the fulfillment center as well as the associates and visitors

Maintain surveillance of the property via CCTV and physical inspections including perimeter checks

Check inbound and outbound drivers and trailers to maintain yard security, which may include operating an outdoor vehicle control booth

Investigate incidents and accidents that occur in the facility and document them appropriately in an incident / accident report.

Ensure the FC is a safe working environment for all

Respond to medical situations and render first aid when needed

Perform various daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits and tasks regarding the safety and security of the facility and all personnel within.

Prepare written reports, preserve evidence

Greet associates and visitors on arrival; perform bag checks on departure and man the metal detectors

Conduct investigations into internal and external theft and shortages.

Maintain strong, positive partnerships within the FC associate, management, and Asset Protection teams

Foster awareness and communication within areas of assigned responsibility.

Work independently with flexibility

Job Requirements :

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Previous retail and / or distribution center loss prevention experience preferred.

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledgeable of various systems (i.e. CCTV, access control, alarms, etc.)

Excellent computer and organizational skills.

Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of facility management.

Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Must be able to multi-task and follow directions.

Must have problem-solving skills. Must have excellent time management skills.

Ability to work in all weather conditions.
