La Mesa First United Methodist Children's Center is located in the heart of La Mesa, . We are looking for a highly motivated teacher looking for a temporary summer position with the possibility of growing into a long term permeant position, and to inspire to be part of a great team. Responsibilities:

* Create positive learning environments including resources based on child-directed learning

* Develop strategies to guide positive children's behavior

* Build good, open communication with children, families and staff

* Observe and record children's growth and development

* Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe

You will need:

* At least 9 approved early childhood education credits

* Experience working in a childcare setting

* Fantastic organizational and teamwork skills

* Sound written and verbal communication skills

* A good level of computer literacy

* Current CPR and First Aid certificate
