Hilldale Habilitation Center is Hiring a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional Near La Mesa, CA

Overview:

We are seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional to join our team. This role involves providing support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities in a compassionate and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement individualized care plans for clients with intellectual disabilities
- Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities
- Monitor and document client progress and behavior
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Assist with behavior management and crisis intervention when needed
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as required
- Support clients in accessing community resources and services

Experience:

- Previous experience in social work, assisted living, or caregiving
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with hospice care principles is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse populations
- Understanding of support systems for individuals with disabilities

**Requirement BA in Social Work or field related to developmental disabilities or valid CA registration

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $64,480.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
