Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Medical Assistant to join our team. Good computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records are essential for this role. Professionalism and reliability are non-negotiable, and familiarity with medication names and prior authorizations is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain vital signs and review medications accurately
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information with precision
• Manage patient flow to ensure smooth operations
• Prepare examination rooms for patient visits promptly
• Complete DME orders, medication, and radiology prior authorizations efficiently
• Triage phone calls and schedule appointments effectively
• Perform suture and staple removal, administer immunizations, conduct EKGs, and pulmonary function tests with care

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
• Strong computer skills
• Detail-oriented and friendly demeanor
• Ability to excel in a busy environment
