Work is not PhD level, please do not submit PhDs. ***• Responsibilities The candidate will be a member of the Tumor Cell Biology-Epigenetic group. • He/she will design and execute experiments to evaluate, characterize and validate the mechanism of action of epigenetic targets in oncology using shRNA or small molecule inhibitors in human cell lines. • The applicant will function as a member of a multidisciplinary project team and will present results and recommendations at local project team and related meetings. • The candidate is expected to embrace an innovative culture and contribute to creating an exciting, collaborative, productive and scientifically igorous working environment.Qualifications• Strong Cell and Molecular Biology background with an understanding of epigenetic biology - Extensive experience in molecular and cell biology in vitro techniques including: human cell culture, qPCR, western blotting, immunoprecipitation (including ChIP), proliferation assays, flow cytometry and immunofluorescence. - Strong written and oral communication skills - Ability to design, execute and interpret results in a primarily autonomous manner• Previous experience in pharma and/or biotech environment is preferred. Industry experience and understanding oncology drug discovery is required.
