MAK’s House is Hiring a Bartender Near La Grange, IL

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Bartender. Fast paced environment. The vibe is cool, owner is cool and managemnet is cool. We are looking for good positive individuals that are passionate about what they do. Music nerds are a plus!!!! The ideal candidate should have amazing customer service skills, and a strong knowledge of how to build proper drinks

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely drink service

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in bartending or hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic understanding of retail math for handling payments and making change
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests
- Experience in banquet or food service settings is a plus

Pay: From $8.00 per hour
