Summary of Position: Summary of Position: Responsible for participating in management, development, and maintenance of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. Will participate with reporting team as needed. Assist ERP Team to perform business analysis as needed, including collection and analysis of data when needed. Provide support for front line tickets and general maintenance of open tickets for ERP Team. Serve as liaison between ERP Team, and other stakeholders as needed.

Essential Functions

1. Maintain and uphold the College values of Learning, Excellence, Accountability, Diversity, Student Success, Teamwork, Integrity, and Respect. Regular attendance is required.
2. Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department.
3. Student Success is the cornerstone of Western’s culture, and the college may assign employees as needed to other areas or additional duties to foster this success.
4. Maintain all aspects of the ERP System - Supporting Action/Task May Include:

  • Provide technical support for college ERP student information system.
  • Test upgrades as provided by the vendor for our ERP.
  • Resolve user ERP software issues and communicate required system upgrades.
  • Maintain role-based security model.
5. Project Coordination and Business Analysis - Supporting Action/Task May Include:
  • Coordinate projects with ERP Team including but not limited to gathering requirements, defining resources, creating and tracking milestones, and documenting all stages of projects.
  • Facilitate operational meetings/walk-throughs with team members to review project details and plan.
  • Act as a team member for ERP users to provide support and training as needed.
6. Technical Support & Data Analysis - Supporting Action/Task May Include:
  • Create and maintain user accounts.
  • Assign and document user security.
  • Participate in creating reports, data analysis, implementation and maintenance of the college information systems as assigned.
  • Provide analysis and documentation of processes for ERP- related systems and business processes.
  • Recommend changes to ERP related business processes for overall efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 3 yrs. occupational experience OR
  • Education in related field combined with related occupational experience totaling 7 yrs.OR
  • Related Occupational experience totaling 7 yrs.

This position reports to: Director - Information Technology
Starting annual/hourly salary range based on education and experience: $55,299 - $72,605


This position would include competitive salary, along with a wide variety of benefits available to full-time Western Technical College Employees.
