A Baccalaureate degree and 3 – 5 years fund-raising experience, preferably in higher education, are required.
Experience with planned giving and the fundraising software, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word) is essential. Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills are required. The ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with alumni, corporate leaders, university employees, students, parents and friends of the University is essential. Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet short deadlines in accordance with the campaign operating plans. Takes initiative, works independently and as part of a team. Uses discretion and abides by all policies in handling confidential information. A valid U.S. driver's license is required.
