Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Engineer at Hampton Inn by Hilton located in Kutztown, PA. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the hotel's physical plant, including the HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. The Chief Engineer will also manage the engineering staff and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel maintenance and engineering
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to manage and lead a team
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards
• Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g. Certified Chief Engineer, HVAC certification)
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Experience with hotel property management systems is a plus
