Eriks Chevrolet is Hiring an Auto Body Technician Near Kokomo, IN
Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window and seat operating equipment, and trims to gain access to vehicle body and fenders.
Removes damaged fenders, panels, and grilles, using wrenches and cutting torch.
Bolts or welds replacement parts in position, using wrenches or welding equipment.
Straightens bent automobile frames, may use a frame straightening machine.
Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
Aims headlights.
Repairs or replaces defective mechanical parts.
Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received.
Notifies management of any additional repairs needed.
Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being Performed or cause a change in the promised time.
Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
