Pay Range: Dependent on Experience

- Negotiates prices, payment terms, and delivery with vendors to meet or be under budget while maintaining on time deliveries
- Initiates purchase orders for specific materials and commodities
- Works with Shop Schedule/Scheduler to achieve material flow that supports shop schedule.
- Position requires regular exercise of decision making, problem solving and policy or procedure adherence
- Ability to handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and high customer focus with internal and external customers
- Make contacts that sometimes involve controversy where established methods or procedures require interpretation.
- Experience with material planning to maintain project schedules
- Proven experience sourcing Materials, Components and Services domestic and worldwide to achieve company objectives
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Equivalent Work Experience
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management preferably in an OEM Equipment Environment
- Working knowledge of FAR and DFAR Military Purchasing Requirements is a plus.
- Proven Price and Contract negotiation skills
- Effective time management organization and the ability to work independently
- Demonstrated high level of aptitude in spreadsheets, databases, and electronic commerce
- Capable to analyze data and produce sound decisions within short timeframe
- Proven ability to create a Win / Win Procurement and Supply Chain Solution
- Experienced High Energy Price, Delivery and Contract Negotiator
- Knowledge pertaining to custom engineered systems in a project environment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Able to work overtime as required.
