Responsibilities :

• Under direct supervision, performs tasks at the lab involving receipt, organization and shipment of materials, supplies and donor samples
• Operates material handling equipment such as automated carriers, pallet jacks, hand trucks, conveyers, compactors and forklifts
• Participates in mandatory equipment training and performs inspections and routine maintenance on equipment
• Receives, verifies and documents receipt of materials, supplies and specimens on logs / computerized inventory management system
• Troubleshoots and investigates all in-bound and out-bound sample shipment delays
• Organizes materials, supplies and specimens in appropriate storage areas; inspects, stocks, and distributes inventory materials
• Maintains shipping records and prepares materials to be shipped to other locations
• Follows safety regulations, Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) rules, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Qualifications :
• High School Diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training
• Basic computer skills required
• Prior experience in material handling and / or maintenance preferred
• Familiarity with SAP preferred Different qualifications or responsibilities may apply based on local legal and / or educational requirements.
