Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. This includes coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining a high level of quality and safety throughout the construction process.
Duties:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of construction projects
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timelines are met
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and adherence to safety standards
- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment needed for each project
- Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure projects stay within budget constraints
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or issues that arise
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and techniques
- Proficient in construction management software such as ProCore, Projects, and Bluebeam
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to manage a team of subcontractors and construction workers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents accurately
