Noo-Kayet Development Corporation is Hiring a Maintenance person Near Kingston, WA
The Hotel Maintenance Person is responsible for maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department and the appearance, repair and working order of the hotel including the interior and exterior of the building, guest rooms, common areas, restaurant, parking lot, landscaping and grounds.
The Maintenance Person must be able to work independently and with others including staff, guests, vendors, inspectors and regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities include completing work orders, repair tasks, preventative maintenance duties, equipment maintenance and repair, maintaining all equipment in guest rooms, public areas and back-of-the house, conducting monthly safety inspections, following safety and emergency procedures, and performing these tasks to a superior level of performance.
Hotel Maintenance Person will be working around a number of potentially dangerous and / or harmful situations, so we need someone who understands and has the experience and training necessary to safely and correctly diagnose, repair and maintain these systems.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS :
- High School Diploma or GED, (college or trade courses in building maintenance a plus.)
- Experience and knowledge of overall maintenance operations, trouble shooting, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, equipment, remodeling projects, hand and power tool usage.
- Possess excellent customer service relationship, organizational, interpersonal, communication and multi-tasking skills, both written and verbal.
