Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Manager to oversee our nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pediatrics, Medical Imaging, and Acute Care.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Oversee patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient care, and physical examinations
- Experience with Epic or other electronic health record systems
- Proficiency in specimen collection processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively
