Duration: 06 Months with possibility of extension
Location:600 Allendale Rd, King of Prussia, PA 19406
Shift hours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 430PM
NOTE: No Pharmacy Certification/License required for PA
DescriptionAs a Pharmacy Technician in Supply Chain, you will work to ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for our patients. You will support a variety of functions including (but not limited to) receiving, inventory management and packaging of medications. Our approach to training will enable you to grow your skillsets.
Additional Tasks And Responsibilities Include" Rotating and working in various assigned pharmacy workstations that could include: Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Emergency Kit Preparation, Restocking Automation and Machine Packaging
" Receiving product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock
" Performing physical inventories of medication
" Cycle count the drugs whose on hand quantities need to be verified
Qualification
One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
Preferred QualificationsAdditional Skills/Experience, but not Required:
" Prior experience in the long-term care industry preferred
" Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
" Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
