Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of our hotel's facilities and equipment. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the hotel management to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities:

Routine Maintenance:

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Address and resolve maintenance issues such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other general repairs.

Emergency Repairs:

• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a quick and effective response to urgent situations.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Maintain and repair hotel equipment, including but not limited to, kitchen appliances, laundry machines, and other relevant machinery.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure all equipment is in working order.

Record-keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Provide regular updates to management on the status of maintenance projects and ongoing issues.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
• Identify and address potential safety hazards in the hotel premises.

Collaboration:

• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or services.
• Work collaboratively with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of general maintenance procedures, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Education and Certifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
