The Lab Supervisor will lead the modification and validation of robust analytical test methods to support R&D investigations into novel formulation development activities, and quality control testing of existing or new functional fluids & components for internal combustion engines.

Lab Supervisor will also collaborate with our quality team to provide analytical problem-solving support for root cause analysis within our manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities & Duties : Manages lab team along with scheduling, coordination, and execution of all sample orders through the lab to include maintaining data continuity within LIMS Sample ManagerDevelop and validate analytical test methods for testing of our engine and industrial functional fluids, for UHPLC, IC, ICP and GC / MS methods, which will include quantification of the base fluid and additive packagePreparing technical reports for both internal and external customers or stakeholders, which will cover validation of refined test methods and analytical investigations into quality related concernsExecute new analytical techniques for improved quality control within our manufacturing plantsCalibrating, and maintaining equipment for analytical development activities Education Requirement : Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, or analytical chemistry required Qualifications : Experience using UHPLC, ICP, IC and GM / MS equipment and methods requiredPrior professional experience in similar industries is an advantageStrong analytical and problem-solving ability and self-starter Able to manage multiple projects and varying tasks simultaneously Should you or anyone you know be interested in this position, please have them submit their resume to us for immediate consideration
