Job Description

We offer comprehensive expertise in the following broad, evolving areas: 
-Designing and implementing metropolitan area fiber optic and wireless networks 
-Designing and optimizing network architecture 
-Coordinating the planning and design process with policymakers and first-response professionals 
-Developing public/private partnerships in broadband communications 
-Public Safety Wireless Communications 
-Homeland Security Planning and Networking 
-Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)/Traffic Communications 
-Broadband Communications Networking 
-Engineering Analysis for Siting of Wireless Communications Facilities 
-Communications Network Performance Evaluation

Qualifications

The following experience for this position matters to us (any or all of these is a plus): 1) You have five or more years of recent experience in the wireless industry with wireless network engineering; 2) You have experience with planning, designing and overseeing integration of communications networks;3) You have a bachelor level degree in engineering or related field with preference given for more advanced degrees and relevant certifications;4) You have experience with communications outside plant cable construction and design, or network electronics (Preferred, but not required);5) You are organized;6) You have excellent writing skills.
