Private Consulting Firm, LLC is Hiring an Accounting Bookkeeper Near Kenosha, WI
The Accounting Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining up to date and accurate accounting books and records for all properties and associations managed by our firm. The Accounting Bookkeeper reports to the Accounting Manager.
Roles & Responsibilities:Financial Reporting (Clients) – Appfolio Software
- Formulate and create financial templates for each client per Company policy
- Prepare annual budgets, with input from A/R and A/P depts and president approval
- Reconcile journals and book balances with bank statements
- Compile monthly reports for all clients, due by the 10th of the month
- Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow Statement
- Income Statement
- Rent rolls
- Ledger reports as deemed appropriate per Company policy
- Post reports on the client portal and/or email as directed per client
- Address client concerns or questions regarding financial reports
- Provide excellent service and support to our clients
- Process monthly disbursements to Clients based on distribution policy
- Cooperate with Company CPA accounting firm to prepare year-end tax returns
- Create company policies and processes for the A/R and A/P departments
- Make recommendations and assist in developing best practices
- College grad – accounting major is a requirement
- Basic computer skills, including good command and use of Microsoft WORD and EXCEL
- Experience with Appfolio (highly desired)
- Knowledge and experience with QuickBooks
- Bookkeeping experience with a small company including knowledge and experience in all facets of financial accounting (AR, AP, payroll, invoice processing, financial reporting)
- At least 3 years’ experience with property management accounting (required)
- Ability to work independently with no supervision
- Good interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
- Team player with drive for high customer satisfaction, high integrity and commitment to company brand and vision
- Full time position
- M - F, 9 AM – 5 PM
- 40 hours per week
