Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties began in 1995 and now serves over 2200 club members each year at multiple club locations. The Club is currently working with community partners to establish additional club sites in underserved communities.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the Billing Coordinator is responsible for billing of licensed childcare fees for private pay and DCYF paid subsidies. They assist parents in completion of registration, billing, payment of fees, scholarships and discounts. Individual must have superior customer service skills as well as great attention to detail.

job functions

• Manage and process accounts receivable in MyClubHub: monthly billing, co-pays, etc.
• Assist parents (and staff) with billing questions
• Apply scholarships to accounts in MyClubHub
• Claim DCYF subsidies with state of Washington
• Complete regular audits of data in MyClubHub to ensure accuracy
• Serve as the primary resource for staff regarding billing and enrollment questions for licensed childcare.
• Facilitate work parties with management staff to review billing and assist with questions or issues

qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of one year working in billing, accounting, or other applicable field.
• 18 years of age or older
• Detail oriented, organized and able to prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner.
• Strong computer skills required.
• Previous experience in data management with proven ability to enter data, ensure accuracy, and generate reports.
• Strong communicational skills, both verbal and written. Bilingual strongly preferred.
• Leadership skills including negotiation, problem solving, decision making and delegation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and to develop solutions to problems with limited supervision.
