Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As a LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting in the implementation of nursing Treatment plans. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with Mental Health Residents to make a difference in the lives of our resident's.
Duties:
- Conduct Monthly Resident assessments and collect relevant health information
- Administer Weekly/Monthly prescribed Injections
- Communication with Facility Manager and Facility Physician (order changes, Resident changes in health).
-Training Medication Aides on proper med passes, ensuring Med Aides are comfortable with their duties.
- Evaluate Resident Treatment plans
- Diabetic Nail Care
-Overseeing Labs and following up with orders
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in [STATE]
- Proven experience in patient care as an LPN
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and healthcare practices
- Proficiency in administering injections
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly
