Responsible for patient care including health maintenance, disease prevention, and physical diagnosis. Provides treatment and management of patients with common acute and chronic health problems. An emphasis on health teaching and psychosocial counseling in caring for patients is a plus. Works closely with supervising physician(s) in areas where patient care involves consultation. Utilizes disease assessment and management skills in conjunction with the physician to provide health care services to a wide variety of clients
