Our Client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk .
Earn an hourly pay at this full-time position. Work 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM. Work schedule varies. Must be flexible to work weekends.
Job Description :
- Assists with cash collections and decreasing Accounts Receivables (AR) aging
- Investigate and resolve debit and credit account balances
- Provide escalation and / or appeals processes
- Understand and effectively interprets contracts, Remittance Advices (RA) and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements
- Submits claims and follow up on claim statuses
- Make sure clean claims are submitted using a claim editor software
- Analyzes and evaluates account denials and rejections
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Two years related experience and / or training (one year in billing and / or collections experience)
- Knowledge of insurance and billing forms
- Excel knowledge
- Good math and communication skills
