To supervise the maintenance activity through the implementation of a preventive maintenance program and an ongoing maintenance repair program for production maintenance and process equipment.

*Supervises maintenance team members, to include hiring, training and performance management.

*Sets shift schedules, coordinate shift activities and exchange information and priorities between shifts.

*Maintenance of machinery and procurement of necessary materials.

*Work in conjunction with EHS to address environmental, health and safety concerns for the facility.

*Assigns preventative maintenance tasks as needed and assures timely execution.

*Plans, organizes, and assigns work in accordance with production schedules and utilizes employees and equipment to the best advantage.

*Install electrical conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors, and other such equipment.

*Test, maintain and evaluate equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges.

*Schedules team members to perform skilled maintenance activities including construction, welding, brazing, soldering, and plumbing.

*Check and repair pumps, fans, valves, and motors.

*Adjust, repair, and replace electrical and pneumatic components.

*Recommend needed procedures for preventive maintenance tasks.

*Responsible for quality and safety of work and compliance of all company procedures and policies

*Ensures team adheres to Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.

*Ensure team adheres to National electrical code, NFPA 70 and NFPA 79 regulations.

-High school diploma-5 years related maintenance experience-3 to 5 years supervisory experience-Familiarity with air compressors, heating and air conditions, plumbing, welding, carpentry, electrical/electronic equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics and heavy manufacturing equipment-Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved-Skill in the care and use of tools and equipment used in the trades involved-Ability to detect defects in equipment and to make proper repairs or adjustments-Ability to interpret and work from pencil sketches and diagrams
