- Jobsites are in surrounding areas of Kearney but not limited to: Central City, York, Geneva, Hastings, Henderson, and Grand Island. All applicants are highly encouraged to apply **
Summary of duties:
- Performs tasks involving carpentry and physical labor at commercial construction sites
- Operates a variety of hand and power tools
- Assists or trains other construction workers as needed
- Proper and safe use of equipment, materials and supplies used in construction
- Various building types and construction methods
- Construction plans and Specifications
- Possess one or more specialized skills of the construction trade - carpentry, concrete, welding, etc
- Willingness and ability to preform skilled construction duties following verbal and/or written instructions
- Must be in good physical condition in order to push, pull, carry objects and preform other tasks as assigned by site Superintendent
- Ability to operate basic equipment - forklift, skid loader, water pump, etc
