Job description
Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Content Specialist to develop dynamic content for our company social media and internal newsletter. The Content Specialist will assist with promoting Beacon’s social media and branding strategy, increasing engagement with the Beacon community. The ideal candidate will be responsible, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Beacon provides a competitive compensation package that includes base wage, bonus incentive, training, and professional development opportunities. Applicants should submit their portfolio of work and 2-3 samples of social media work.
Responsibilities
- Implementing social media content plans appropriate to various platforms
- Assisting with development of social content calendar
- Supporting internal newsletter content management
- Communicating with social media followers in a timely and consistent manner
- Researching and staying informed about current social media trends, especially in relation to healthcare and behavioral health
- Assist the organization and the Director of Marketing with day-to-day graphic design needs and projects
Skills:
- Strong comprehension of graphic design
- Familiarity with graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Understanding of AP Style and ability to follow provided brand and style guide
- Familiarity with social platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn (required)
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (preferred)
- Flexible schedule, 15-20 hours per week!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
