Salary: $75,000-$85,000

Position SummaryThe Operations Supervisor position is responsible for both Delivery and Warehouse operations. This position will supervise the day-to-day activities of the delivery department along with responsibilities over warehouse inventory, receiving, slotting, replenishment and order selecting.
Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To
- Supervises daily delivery operations, planning and scheduling manpower
- Assigns drivers and vehicles to convey freight
- Coordinates drivers according to customer requests in compliance with DOT regulations and company rules
- Communicates with customers to determine driver needs and schedules and notifies drivers of assignments and enters assignment data in computer database
- Ensures quality standards and productivity standards are achieved with safety being a priority.
- Responsible for Warehouse productivity tracking, to meet customer schedules and maximize operational efficiency
- Assists with various transportation/warehouse duties related to DOT regulations, OSHA, fleet operations, and scheduling
- Coaches and leads the Warehouse team to increase productivity and provide high-quality customer service
- Ensures completion and proper execution of work procedures
- Accountable for all inventory functions
- Other projects or duties as assigned
- Associates degree and 3-4 years of related experience in warehouse, transportation, purchasing, inventory controls, customer service, sales or similar supply chain department including 1 year of people leadership experience; or High School Diploma and 5 years of related experience including 2 years of people leadership experience
- Must be available to work any hours, days, or any shift
- Strong communication (written and oral) and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Able to safely use various warehouse equipment, including a forklift
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
- College Degree or equivalent
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
