We are looking for an energetic, customer service oriented person who is willing to learn a new skill set. The open position is for a technician who is responsible for assisting patients with selecting frames and lenses based on the Doctor's recommendations, performing adjustments and repairs to glasses as well as verifying and ordering materials. Basic computer skills is a must. Employees must be comfortable working with all ages and backgrounds. Employees must be willing to travel to our three different locations (Kendallville, Albion and Ligonier).
Our practice was started in 1945 in Kendallville Indiana by Dr. Robert Roush. Since that time, we have expanded our practice to include three different locations. Kendallville. Albion and Ligonier.
We have a total of 5 doctors in the practice who rotate between the three locations. Our current opening would require work in all three locations.
Each staff person is regularly scheduled 4 days per week. Hours vary between 32 and 40 hours. Regular office hours start at 7:30 am, ending time may vary based on the day on the week, but generally no later than 6:30 pm.
