Hanson International, located in St. Joseph, Michigan, specializes in the design, build, sample, and inspection of precision molds – primarily for the die cast industry. Hanson International is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill CNC operator positions for all shifts. Standard work schedule is day shift Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 5:30PM or night shift Sunday 9:00PM-5:30AM, Monday through Thursday 5:30PM-4:30AM.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to set up and operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) machines, and machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders. 
• Make required setups to secure work piece for machining.
• Maintain tolerances as required by the prints or customer in the machining process.
• Verify conformation of finished work piece to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Complete job assignments correctly in the allotted time frame.
• Assist supervisors and lead men in fitting small jobs into the schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance items as listed on assigned machinery.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Active learning, good judgment, and time management skills.
• Strong math and communication skills.
• Good mechanical knowledge. 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
