As a Part-Time Housekeeper with us, you'll play an integral role in preserving the high standards of our vacation rental properties. Your duties will encompass a thorough cleaning regime, ensuring each area of our properties is immaculate. This includes tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and elevating the cleanliness of kitchens and bathrooms to the highest level.
This part-time position is ideally suited for those who are juggling other weekly commitments.
Busiest Off-season Days Are: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
A lot of guests checkout on Sunday and that is where our biggest need is. For you, that would look like 1-3 cleans on Sunday (2 or more is ideal). Potentailly 1 to 2 cleans between Monday and Tuesday.
Peak Season: Just like off-season, we have huge demand for Sunday cleanings but weekday cleans pick up. That could be anywhere from 2-5 cleans throughout the week.
Most cleans start between 10-11:30. If another guest is checking in the same day, the clean needs to be complete by 4pm.
Responsibilities
- Execute a range of cleaning activities, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
- Ensure all rooms adhere to our stringent care and inspection standards.
- Properly maintain equipment and promptly report any malfunctions.
- Notify management of any property issues, shortages, or guest disturbances.
- Professionally and patiently address reasonable guest complaints and requests.
- Regularly check and replenish supplies as required.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and organizational policies.
- Be able to operate in a fast paced environment.
- Being able to run errands and do small maintenance tasks like swapping out batteries on random days and times.
- A high school education.
- Demonstrated experience in cleaning or housekeeping.
- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Customer-focused, with a friendly disposition.
- Proficient in task prioritization and effective in multitasking.
- Capable of working efficiently without compromising on quality.
- Good command of the English language.
