Physicist, UHS Wilson Square United Health Services is seeking a Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology 02 department at UHS Wilson Square in Johnson City, NY. This is a Per Diem position. Shift Day Hours per week: 0 Salary range: $70.14 - $105.24 per hour, depending on experience. Overview Performs treatment planning for patients according to the treatment regimen prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. Maintain the diagnostic and therapeutic equipment needed to serve patients. Qualifications Education/Experience Minimum Required: A master's degree in physics, medical physics, biophysics, radiological physics, medical health physics, or equivalent disciplines from an accredited college or university Preferred: Not Applicable License/Certification Minimum Required: New York State licensure in Medical Physics with professional specialty are of Therapeutic Radiological Certification within one (1) year of employment by: The American Board of Radiology; or The American Board of Medical Physics in Medical Health Physics Preferred: Not Applicable About United Health Services United Health Services is a not-for-profit healthcare system serving more than 500,000 people in Upstate New York’s Southern Tier region.
