Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This individual will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Educating patients and families on treatment plans and care
• Documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
