- We have an opening for an ACCOUNTANT, ASSOC position.
- Location: 800 VALLEY PLAZA, STE 8 Johnson City, NY 13790. Note: online applications accepted only.
- Schedule: Full Time; Monday- Friday, no weekends.
- Requirement: Data entry, customer service and Excel experience. 2 year college (or 4 year) degree in Accounting/ Finance or Business Administration with a concentration in accounting preferred. In lieu of education, 3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounting experience with full charge general ledger may also be considered. Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines.
- Pay Range: $24- 25 per hour

Job Summary
The primary role of the Associate Accountant is providing financial support to our internal and external operations while providing top customer service and escalating appropriate items to the team lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between field operations and other functions such as Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Assist in meeting requirements for compliance to contract terms
- Validate customer requests and process transactions as needed
- Create and maintain day-by-day and closing checklist for all operations
- Identify best practices within the role and strive to improve processes and efficiencies
- Perform other accounting tasks as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two or four year degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Or 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping work experience experience with full charge general ledger may also be considered
- Proficient knowledge of MS Excel
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels of associates
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
- Detail oriented team player with initiative.
- Excellent customer service skills.
