General Laborer
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working General Labore r for a company based in Johns Island , S C .
In this role, you will primarily be responsible f or the efficient operation of the warehouse by performing various tasks related to receiving, storing, and shipping products .
Pay Rate
$ 16 .00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 4 0 0 pm.
General Laborer Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving and Inspecting : Receiving incoming shipments, inspect them for damages, and verify accuracy against packing slips
- Stocking and Organizing : Efficiently stock products in designated storage areas, maintaining a well-organized and clean warehouse environment
- Picking and Packing : Accurately pick products according to order specifications, pack them securely, and prepare them for shipping
- Shipping and Documentation : Prepare shipping documents, affix labels, and ensure timely dispatch of orders.
- Equipment operation : Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Follow all safety guidelines.
General Laborer Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
