POSITION SUMMARY

This position is an income tax compliance role, responsible for preparing state and local income tax returns for a partnership and a C-Corp and assisting in preparing federal income tax return. Additionally, this position is responsible for handling various tax related duties in support for the daily operations of tax functions. A competitive candidate for this position is a tax professional with solid entrance experience in income tax compliance, energetic and intellectually curious, and dedicated to growing a successful career in the income tax profession. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare state and local income tax returns for a partnership and a C-Corp group, under the supervision of the tax manager.
• Assist in preparing federal income tax returns for a partnership and a C-Corp consolidation group.
• Prepare, or assist in preparing, calculation, workpaper, roll-forward schedules and documentation, etc.
• Process tax payments for quarterly estimates and extensions, etc.
• Other duties and/or projects as needed or assigned by management.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of income tax compliance experience as a preparer, state and local income tax experience preferred.
• Self-starter with strong analytical skills and adequate accounting knowledge.
• Detail oriented, deadline driven, with the ability to adapt to change and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Dedicated to growing a career as a professional in corporate income tax compliance and income tax accounting.
• CorpTax software experience preferred.
